Hello Mat,

I'm having trouble differentiating between which button is pressed to bring up the context menu and then get this working into the functions.

Currently I have this;

public void function1(int id){
	// save ring tone function
    switch (id) {
    	case test:
    	Toast.makeText(this, "TEST BUTTON PRESSED", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();

    	case test2:
    	Toast.makeText(this, "TEST2 BUTTON PRESSED", Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
    }
}

Where test and test2 are buttons which bring up the context menu but it just doesn't seem to be working? Am I totally of course here as I'm very new to Java programming.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi there. Great post. I realise that it's over a year old, but was wondering if you could help me with something. I recently got a micrscope that looks identical to your old one (minus the button), that's also 20-200x.
Here's a shot of the 'P' on a 10p (http://i.imgur.com/MRfOG.jpg), and as you can see it looks almost identical to your one. The thing is, you have a min and max zoom. Are these both taken with the object at the same distance? I can only ever get one focal point. I'm not sure if its something I'm doing, or if my micrscope just isn't very good (it was dirt cheap, which is why I bought it).
The second thing I want to ask is, did you ever manage to take still shots at a resolution higher than 640x480? My microscope claims to be 2mp, but there is no still pin format for 1600x1200 (or anything larger than VGA)

@mrJ05hua I am encountering the same problem you were and I can not figure it out. After googling I found this site. How did you set up the call of your arrays in the function that saves the file, well chooses the file the save? I know this is old but hey maybe you will reply :) Thanks.

Thanks very much. This is the only Gridview I got working now.

This is my res/layou/main.xml:

and this is how I call it in the Activity:
	public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

		setContentView(R.layout.main);

		DisplayMetrics metrics = new DisplayMetrics();
		getWindowManager().getDefaultDisplay().getMetrics(metrics);

		GridView gridview = (GridView)findViewById(R.id.gridView1);
	    gridview.setAdapter(new MonthAdapter(this, 11, 2011, metrics));

	    gridview.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() {
            public void onItemClick(AdapterView parent, View v, int position, long id) {

This is a game I play everyday whenever I have a few minutes to spare. I recently switched to using an iPhone instead of a droid. I'd love to see a version of the app available on iTunes. I can access the website on the phone, but the interface is a little slow to respond and overlaps kind of oddly. I love this game.. Even if it doesn't think "guitar" is a word. Keep up the good work guys.

@BILL
You should create the alertdialog from the builder.
AlertDialog  a = eula.create();
a.show();
and then call a.getwindows().getattribues() on the alert dialog.
Without showing the alert dialog get window will fail.

I cannot get this to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. It states that "The method getWindow() is undefined for the type AlertDialog.Builder". Here's the code I'm using:

    public static void showEula(final boolean accepted, final Activity activity) {
        AlertDialog.Builder eula = new AlertDialog.Builder(activity)
                .setTitle(R.string.eula_title)
